"Patiently" is probably not a word my mom would use based on the random phone calls she's gotten from my over the last 2 weeks....... ok over the last 7 months....

Based on this dry spell with the job, I'd take it, even if the salary is not where you want it to be. You need to be doing something, it's just eating at you. If something better comes along or you still wanna look, there is nothing wrong with that. You always need to keep your options open.

This is what I was thinking too! Really glad this is panning out for ya and that's great that they're willing to negotiate the offer too.

Job offers and men - they're like buses, one doesn't come by for ages, then, they all turn up at once, lol.

I know I sound like a whiner, I even called my mom & apologized for using the F word 2x on the phone the other nite. Its just nervewracking when you've been told verbally to expect things, other people set up a schedule to have the talk and then .... nothing. And then you get another call to schedule another call and to expect an email. Then you get no email. And then you get a call that tells you the email isn't ready yet and to expect it in the morning.

Seriously -- it took me 6 days just to find out the job title & salary range for this thing.

Anyway I got the offer letter this morning - it all looks good but I was surprised at only 2 weeks vacation for a director level position. It sux cuz I usually work 80 hrs anyway. Wondering if I should bitch about it...

I'm still gonna do the HP interview in an hr to see how that sounds -- but despite the one being here, its definitely a good position w/ hyuge opportunity. I'm hoping it just has enough travel to make CA a destination anyway....
