Running and getting Cut

Alright, I am trying to get more cut, ESPECIALLY in my stomach. Now i run in the morning, but i have a few questions. First off, is it better to run before breakfast? Also i was wondering is it good or bad to drink coffee before running, I didnt know if it helps to burn more fat, etc. Lastly, Does anyone know of a good routine to follow daily to cut up the abs? Thank you very much, this is my first post on here. Happy working out to all :)

when you run you risk losing muscle so i would recomend steady walk or short sprints. ys you can drink coffee before i do and it helps me

Well to get cut up, first your diet has got to be on point....If you eat junk all day long, it doesn't matter how much you run you won't get cut. Diet is key, everything else is secondary.

Yes it's better to do cardio on an empty stomach because you burn more fat, so yes before breakfast is best.

Coffee has caffeine, which gives you a boost in energy, if you're going to drink coffee make sure it isn't loaded with cream and sugar.

For an ab routines you might what to check out the weight lifting forum.

Oh and welcome :)

I think there is a good reason you never see a bodybuilder or fitness competitor running to lose weight, it burns too many calories too fast and forces your body to use musce as energy. If you wan to lose fat and keep your muscle the best way in my opinion is a long medium intensity walk for at least 30-45 min. If you are not concerned with keeping muscle mass then run all you want.
