Recovery Advice Wanted

Alright bro's, I was looking for some advice from some lifters with more experience than me. I am 21 yrs old 5,8 163lbs at about 10% bf. The beginning of May I was at 175~180 at about 15 or 16% bf. I have been on a very low carb diet, less than 30carbs a day since may, except for Friday night and Saturday, I carb load. I train every muscle group twice a week, recently started FST 7 once a week per muscle group. These last few days I have been feeling run down and feel my body may need a week or so off to recover and completely catch up. Do you guys think it would be beneficial to take say 4 days to a week off? Or should I just push through? Just wondering what would be most beneficial

P.s. sorry for such a long post, just don't want to leave out any needed/wanted info

You could do a deload week. Use about 40-60% of normal weights just to get some blood pumping. Also you should be incorperating lots of foam rolling and prehab exercises to aid in recovery. This is something I do daily and over time it makes a huge difference in recovery. I usually do a deload week every 12-16 weeks or when I feel beat up. It also doesnt help that your limiting calories, but if your cutting, feeling fatigued is common.

It's not the fatigue so much that I'm fighting, it's more of my body is literally aching, all over, soreness is through the roof. I'm just wondering if it's my body saying dude cut me some slack here or if it's just a level a soreness I haven't been used to lately because of the addition of FST 7

With your high level of activity it would be wise to be in a calorie surplus. But since your cutting, you may need to decrease intensity a little to compensate for lack of calories. Food is essential for recovery, and if your pushing your body to extremes without feeding it enough food its going to fight back. I would take a week or so off to recover and adjust my training intensity to accomodate your diet.

I've done fst 7 in the past and IMO it's not ideal for low carb dieting. I'd deload a week or take a week off completely minus cardio.
I'm a big fan of three day a week low volume strength training when dieting.

Alright man thanks for the advice. Yesterday and today I cheated somewhat on my diet, just two more servings of oatmeal and a handful of Cheerios lol and cut legs short yesterday, did just one workout of quads hams and calfs three sets each, and went do enough to get a pump on chest tri shoulders and it seems I'm a little fuller and built back up somewhat, and feeling good. Gonna do the same for back and bi's tomorrow and take the weekend off. I'll decide how I'm gonna hit it next week by how I'm feeling on monday
