R-ALA dosage for bulking....

I have been taking about 2 grams of R-ALA on carb ups for about 10 months now. I have been bulking lately with a huge carb up every 5th day. Should I still take the R-ALA. It seems to make me a little sleepy but other than that it seems that my body has become immune to this stuff. Also, having a carb up day every 5th day makes me wonder how much "sugary" food I need, any comments on my issues.
 
I would limit major carb-ups to oince every week or two weeks unless you're very lean, then every 5 days can suffice, to replenish your leptin levels. There is no need to cycle R+, so continue taking it for every 30-40g CHO you consume. In the long run, a clean bulk will benefit you more when it's time to cut again ;). On that note, what 'sugary' foods are you talking about? The only times I would take in sugary foods would be immediately, PWO, as in dextrose/maltodextrin
