Question about reps

I remember loading the bar up with 5's a lot of times for curls. when I would hit that failure point I would sit it down and my partner would remove a five from each side...and I would go again till I got stuck. We kept this process up till I just had the bar on there.

You might start with a bunch of fives or 2.5's...

I love dropsets!!!!
 
i saw my brother doin something i never saw before on bis one day. he was preacher curling with a few 5s on each side of the bar and was working the negative part of the exercise. hed count to 6 on the way down, and two spotters would help him up, then hed do it again, for like 6 reps. then a 5 would come off, and it would start again. i have yet to try it, but he says it wrecks the bis.
