Question about CNS and losing strength while dieting

Ok I posted my new workout in here last night, its several posts down but in short I will be lifting three days per week(mon, wed, fri) and sprinting after each weight session. On Tuesday and Thursday I will be jogging a mile and thats it. My diet will be about 150-200g of Carbs, 1g of Protein per pound, and the rest of my calories from flax or fish oil. Now, I always lose strength while dieting as most people do but I was wondering if there is anyway to lessen this through your CNS??? I know that a big majority of strenght comes from CNS and not just muscle strength so I was wondering if there is a way to stimulate more strength through your CNS to maybe help blunt some of the strength loss that goes along with losing fat and a little bit of muscle??? Also, some people say that sprints and weight lifting will over load your CNS if your not careful, anyone care to tell me how to avoid this??? Thanks in advance.

IM going to bump this to the top before I get off of here for the night.

I've never lost strength - in fact 10 years ago I have fond memories gaining considerable strength while on a cycling low carb pre-contest diet, I was hovering around 6-7% bodyfat at the time, and was gaining strength on a HIT style one set to failure 3 times a week style program using 6 exercises. I think the low volume was the key.

Its probbaly due to your body entering an over-reaching state due to incomplete recovery of the CNS from the lower caloric intake. If you sprinting between training sessions, then expect that to happen very easily. You should sprint on the same day as your training sessions, then you can have that proper rest day.

Thanks man, I AM sprinting on the same days I lift. But on my in between days I am JOGGING a mile. I hate to do all of this running but I have to get into shape for a physical fitness test.

remeber that athletes cycle the intenisty of their schedule, they normally unload every 3-4 weeks. If you were to try keep your schedule up, you'll burn out fairly soon.

From my own experience - 2-3 weeks is the most I can peg my ears back for, after that I have to drop the volume way down for a week to super compensate and to recover.
