Protein shakes

All extra calories turn to fat!

No matter if it is protein, carbs or fat. But you can probably get away with eating a little extra protein. Because of the very little insulin spike (that's if you eat just protein) and slow absorbtion (real food/protein).
 
Small complete meals every 2-3 hours helps with your body's metabolism. Your metabolism doesn't slow down (too much) to digest each meal. Plus your body is always getting the nutri it needs.

A complete meal has a lean protein, complex carbs and unsat fats. I suggest cooking a lot of food on Sunday. Then carry your meals with you. This takes a lot of the guest work of the meals you are eating.
