Protein shakes on low carb diet

Do you need to take whey-protein shake while on a low-carb diet even though you get a ton of protein from chicken, steak, eggs ... etc ?

I do cardio 3-4 x a week ... stair running (HIIT) and Weight Training 3-4x a week ...

its hard to really say without knowing when and how much protein you eat, i would still have one PWO, but maybe not more if you are getting enough from your diet.
 
you should only take protein in shake form if you are not getting all your protein from real food. If your normal food intake provides all the proteins as calculated in your diet, then no need to....

BUT

the caveat here is that the PWO (only after weight training) protein intake is recommended to be in the form of Whey (isolate if possible) since at this time you want a fast absortion protein. Just make sure you cant those proteins/carbs as part of your daily totals.
