protein shakes!-- best kind?

how many protein shakes should i drink a day ????????????

1 or 2 most important time to have a shake is post work out other then that get the majority of your protien from real food.

I like the taste of Optimum Nutrition as well as the Sportpharma brands......

I have only tried the Optimum and I don't see me changing any time soon. I love the flavours.

Everyone is different, and the 1 that doesn't make me want to toss my cookies, ay be the 1 that makes you. lol

For example my boyfriend swears by Nitro-Tech, but I can not for the life of me get that down.

The ones I use the most (my a protein shake junkie, always trying new ones out) are:

allthewhey( only problem with is the last time I ordered it took them 3 weeks to get me my protein, usually it takes 3 days, something to do with customs :rollingeyes: ),

MVPnutrition protein is really good (only tried this because my friend works for the company and she gave me some free samples) but there stuff is very good.

I also am taking a casinate protein right now, but this is strictly a night time protein, because it digests slowly. It tastes gross though. lol

Miss24k, what casinate protein whey do you take @ night? Thx

Annie it's called Solution Nutrition, pure casinate is kinda difficult to find, here anyway.

Which is your favorite, I want to try ON protein next cause they have some yummy sounding flavors, but not sure which I should try.

Actually, NO I haven't tried the Choc. Mint yet, cuz at my nutrition store, they only sell it in the 5lb tubs & I've been afraid to buy that large of a container......

I WAS looking on http://www.dpsnutrition.net/ and they sell Next Nutrition's Choc. Peanut Caramel & Tropical Punch flavors. I want to try them.....

Thanks Miss24k about the casinate whey. Is Solution Nutrition difficult to find, can i find it @ Vitamin Shoppe? I hope its low in sodium cause i'm lookin for one that isn't so high in this. So many have this, don't know why manufactors have to load up so high in the sodium dept.??? Anyway, the ON in choc. mint is awesome especially if you add it to milk over water, like the choc. soy milk. Totally awesome, the bomb, i love it for a treat on the weekends and yes i by the 5lb. tubs cause its so great tasting.
