protein shakes and bar vs. real food!

Again shouldn't this thread be at the supplement dissusion board.
Food is by far better than any supplements. Hey m1cron1x what do you put in your tuna omlette?

Our body is programmed to extract macronutrients from food and not from supplements.Anyway Supplements are important too

i used to be like you,in the way that i relied on protein shakes and bars...but make no mistake, whole food is way better.the reason you feel stuffed,is because you're relying too much on shakes(liquid),and when it comes time to eat "real" food...you just can't seem to swallow it down...ever since i started eating whole food and taking my amino acid pills w/ every meal,i have a better and dryer look...i was holding water w/ the shakes...this is what i noticed.i def prefer the dryer and tighter look.make an effort and use the shakes only to add cal's if need be...fyi:fro:

They all have their place !
In the real world we always can't grill a chicken breast
and it kind a hard to open the giant can of tuna will
on the road
I do perfer real food on a mass program but use all the above but after a workout whey to get into the system
quick

I don't see a problem supplimenting your protein intake with shakes and bars (I do it myself) but there is no substitute for real food...eggs, tuna, chicken, ham, steak, milk, cottage cheese etc.
