I'm taking in 136 grams of whey protein from supplements only, plus another 20 from food sources - is this too much, not enough? Please advise....
 
What are your stats? 156g a day and only 20g from real food seems seriously excessive in the "supplement" department.
 
5' 11" and 200 pounds....looking to shed about 10-15 more pounds and replace with muscle...

...we have a trainer at work who suggested around 150 grams of protein from a supplement source...

How much protein should I be getting from real food sources?

around 1 - 1.5g prot / lb is OK

and as far as possible from real food (except post WO)
