Protein Bar for the Road

Does anyone know of a quality protein bar that can be left in the car (for the times you miss a meal or wake up late in the morning) that wouldn't melt in the heat? Thank you in advance.

I also think they melt for the most part. Maybe you could stick a few bars in a thermal lunch bag or even a thermos or some other kind of small container that would keep them cooler.

Unfortunately, that's what I thought. The only other thing I could think of is to get a case of the pre-mixed Muscle Milk cartons (bought some at Costco).

tins or packets of tuna is my answer to that.. i sometimes carry some nuts around as well

Even if it would work, it would taste nasty.
