Preworkout and postworkout shake?

I usually train after my supper so I always have a pre workout food but if I eat some meat I do not have the same amount of carbs that if it was pasta.

SPATTS can you tell me how many grams of dextrose you use?

I guess it's about 60g. I like the Protein Factory Post Training Formula. It's 50% maltodextrin, 25% CFM Whey, and 25% hydrolyzed 520 whey (fastest absorbing whey available). This is the only shake I have ever FELT a difference from. I can be dragging ass BAD after training, and ten minutes after chugging that, I'm a new person.

So I should have coolaid (just any kind??) with whey preworkout and grape juice with whey postworkout?

I've read it's better to have a preworkout shake than a postworkout shake but both are good. So, i'm gonna try both.

not getting into this again

there was just a giant thread of pre/postworkout shakes

by legion kreniok 2 or whatever the hell his name is, search for it

I read the thread. I dont see anything about whether it's better to have preworkout with grapejuice and post with coolaid or vice versa...

bilat, no offense my friend, but pay attention. Spatts answered this. Ditch the grapejuice and coolaid. Buy some dextrose or malto from protein factory, supplementsdirect.com, or a few other bulk powder places. You can get a ton of good carbs for dirt cheap. You save money, and get a better carb.

A little carb pre-workout and throughout(but not a lot) and a shitload immediately post workout.

bilat, the matodex from protein factory is IN the whey...one cost.

Maltodex is cheaper than 100% grape juice some places.

In the time you spent bumping this thread you could've donated enough plasma to buy a year's worth of maltodex. :)
