Pre/Post carbs bulking

Who here bulks with carbs only around their workout, specifically pre and post workout? What kind of results are you getting?
Just something I was thinking about doing to my bulking diet.
Also thought of adding one other carb meal first thing in the morning. Just curious what you guys thought of this.

Anyway, on to your question

I tend to eat my carbs around my workouts as well (weight training, that is). It seems to be a more traditional TKD diet if I'm not mistaken. Most importantly is your window of nurrishment immediately following your weight training. That is when I try and get an copious amount of sugar (dextrose/maltodextrin) with whey ASAP to replenish my stores. I shoot for 60-70g dextrose with my whey and about 45-1.5min thereafter I try and get a good meal, normally chicken breast with brown rice OR yams with some fibrous veggies (i.e. brocolli). Pre workout I normally don't eat too much, but I might eat some oatmeal 60-45 min prior to hitting the gym

I take glut pre/post workout
 
That reminds me, I need to go get some glutamine.
Your eating routine is pretty much exactly what I was thinking about implementing.
Also, were you making pretty good gains w/ this diet?

PS - Wow....that's quite a move from DFW to NY.
Winter will be very different for you :cold: :flake:

Actually, the move was more extreme then that! Grew up in highland park, moved to miami and then moved to nyc :bawling:

It's starting to get a bit nippy up here as we speak

Anyway, I did that diet during last winter when it was F'N cold outside to gain mass. My gains were nice, though not too pronounced. I started at about 210 and went up to about 217. I was definitely fuller. Since June, I've been cutting so I've slowed my carb intake down as I've been playing many sports.

Maybe some more input will be thrown in here
