pre-fatiguing tri's and bi's

Hey I just recently started doing tri's with chest and bi's with back. But I;m not liking it very much. I always hit the large muscle groups (chest and back first) but when I go to hit my tri's after doing some chest or bi's after doing back, they are already fatigued. I had to switch it up, cause I have been doing Chest and Bi's together and Back and Tri's together for quite some time now. I am wondering whether or not I should stick with it or what.

not if it's not working.....i have a day that i do arms alone and i love it .people say don't do it ,but i'm not going to stop something that works for me.give it a try......

The only time pre-exhausting works for me is I hit bi's tris on back and chest days, but also have a heavy arm day where I hit them hard when theyre fresh

I think you should stick to the change, give your body chance to get used to it. It will in time. I change up my routine just as you have every three months or so. It's a good thing to do. It will feel weird for the first couple weeks, but that'st the whole point. Change good!

Yeah keep trying and see what happens. I personally feel that hitting the smaller muscle groups after blasting compound excerisices really works. Thats just me though

I Dropped the back/bi – chest/tri split and went back to an all arm day and I’m getting great results. Try pairing chest/back together, this way your arms get hit twice a week in totally different ways.

Here’s the split I’m doing now, it seems to work well. :D

1-Legs
2-Chest/back
3-rest day
4-Shoulders
5-Arms
6-rest day
