SMB I do think in order to lean up you still need to lift I tried to get lean by all cardio very low cals progress was good but I slipped back to where I started with in 3 months.

Lifting may make the progress slower however I hoping that once I get to where I want to be regardless of the time it will be more permanent rather than I crash type deal.

As for your gf 5'9 130 she is actually under weight she needs to add lean mass so basically follow what Brick and Daisy say.
 
my gf doesnt have as much muscle definition as she should for as much as she trains. Shes not looking to gain muscle as much as she looking to gain definition. I guess there nothing for her so much post workout that can help from what you guys are saying, so im guessing she may just need to start taking on some sort of diet plan like uping her protein intake, but shes already a very thin girl so lowering carbs and /or calories may not be a good idea. Thx for all the responses
 
yes there is

do this but remeber to blend all items

2 scoops of Chocolate Whey
1 scoop of Gplenish
5 grams of Creatine
and ALA

that will help slap on some LBM in a couple of weeks

now granted the rest of her diet must be upped in total calories as well
 
Very interesting I also am loolking to get more definition but I like the size I am now but want to add those pretty cuts. 5'2" 110lbs. 32-24-35, My diet is very high in protein.
 
Remember that getting some muscle does NOT mean getting bulky. Adding some protein and heavier weights will not make her Chyna.

as much as she trains? it doesn't sounds like she's doing much training at all...low weights & high reps isn't going to build muscle. how can she expect to get muscle definition when she doesn't have the muscle?

lift heavy, eat right and she'll see results.

Lift weights hard and heavy, don't do a lot of cardio. Keep diet CLEAN and very high in protein.
