nah I lack the motion in deadlifting.. I don't really know any excercises that are similiar that don't put a strain on your back

How is this hazing?

Lift
Lower body - 45 deg leg press because it makes feel strong and my upper body is weak.
Upper body - Meh - I was having fun with kettle bells - have you guys tried those?

Cardio
Due to a knee injury from dance I stick mainly to spinning and the elliptical in the gym. I used to like running though.
If I could, I would spend my days just mountain biking and dancing.


Entertainment
Law school is hard so I dont have much time for fun...but...
Dance - when I'm not in a company I still like to watch
Travel - I've been all over the world and I'll keep going
Music - I'm one of those who likes a little of everything (including rap and country)
Fucking with strangers on websites

Hobbies
Dance - I miss performing
Mountain Biking - good wholesome fun
Reading - I am a nerd - If you need a good book I'll give you the perfect recommendation
Playing with my new computer.
Photobooth is too much fun.

Honestly bro, your strength can increase waaaaayy more if you start doing more reps in the beginning sets with lighter weight and the last few sets make em your hardest at a lower rep (until failure).

I'm not just saying this, thats a fact. Your warmup sets you aren't repping enough and your power sets your doing to much of. You should be ending your sets something like

flat-
135x12
185x10
225x8 - failure
255x5 - failure
265x4-5 - failure

You want to rip your muscles at the end so they can rebuild lean tissue. I'm not trying to be an ass bro, i'm a certified trainer up at the rec. center down here. This is how you gain new mass, by doing the sets you are doing you are only toning your muscles and making them stronger, you really aren't building as much muscle as you should be, especially at the amount of calories you consume.

bottom line is you should be repping out heavier weight until failure rather than focussing on how many times you actually DO them.

Dude my strength is inceasing and my weight is increasing, I change the weights and reps monthly

I'm not trying to be a smart ass, you really should be doing heavier weights at a lower rep. Your repping way to high for your last sets.

ok like 6 weeks ago i got 225x5, week after x6, thaen 7, then 8 then 9....progression = muscle building

thats a good way of doing it but your only increasing your muscle endurance not necessarily your strength. Add five pounds every week instead of doing one more rep, so you can gradually gain strength instead of just muscle endurance.

for example

week 1- 135x12/185x10/225x8/245x5/ 255 x 5
week 2- 140x12/190x10/230x8/250x5/260 x 5
week 3 - 145x12/195x10/235x8/255x5/265 x 5
week 4 - 150x12/200x10/240x8/260x5/270 x 5
week 5 - 155x12/205x10/250x8/265x5/275 x 5

see what i'm saying, try focussing on how much weight you are pushing instead of your reps.

that works too, but progress is progrss, my muscle wil still grow with an extra rep. right?

Ofcoarse your gunna grow bro, but you could be getting way stronger at a faster pace. trust me. I seen how much you eat, you've packed on alot of muscle but you've also packed on some fat. You need to train properly so your muscles know how to use the calories you consume, specifically protein. Protein is needed for building muscle as you know, but to build muscle you need to rip muscle fibers and put stress on them. By doing higher reps is not putting stress on your muscles enough, you need to keep increasing the weight so your body can slowly adjust.

I swear to it bro, look up in the bodybuilding and strength training sub forum, these are facts on how you should lay your workouts by pro BB's.

next chest day try doing 5 reps of 245 and I bet you can barely do them. Why, is because you have accustomed your muscles to lift 225 only. You should be increasing your weights every time you step into the gym so your body gets used to the heavier weight easier and you will be repping out more weight than you ever could of imagine in no time.

thats why you have the upper hand bor, cus your still young and have lots of time to improve and switch your strategy when ever.

If shit works than shit works, but shit could also work alot better but you might not know it because you havn't tried it. just remember that.

I like being young and healthy, from 20-25 are your prime years in my opinion. But then again i'm only 24 and haven't seen the other side of being 30... so we'll see

I can feel my body getting older.
I'm only 26 - but in dance you get to know your body very well.
You notice every new ache and crack.

It is good that you are being civil - but it still seems like it would be hard.
I would lose my mind if I was trying to get over someone while I had to see him every day - in my house none the less.

I have a blessing.. or curse if you want to call it.. to get over things instantly, ya it's not the best thing to see her everyday but it's all for the better
