I have a quick question. Do you still get a good cardio workout in the evening? I noticed a lot of people doing there cardio first thing in the morning and that is something that I am not able to do. What are the differences in training time?

You can still get good cardio in the evening. In my opinion, anytime you can squeeze cardio in is good, simply because I (along with several others on here) absolutely dread it.

Having said that though, the best time to do it is on an empty stomach. I work rotating shifts, and can't always do it first thing in the morning just because I'm too exhausted after a night at work. So, I may take a 3-4 hour nap (depending on my schedule) instead and get up afterward. If I remember right, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, wait 3-4 hours after a meal and you can consider it an "empty stomach."

That is why you will see so many of us doing cardio in the morning. On normal day shifts, it is not unusual for me to get up at 4 am just to get in 20-30 minutes. It's hard to do, but has been the quickest way I've found to see results. Good luck with the log!! ;)

The main thing is to do cardio on an empty stomach. It will almost immediately dip in to fat stores and start burning it up. When you eat and then do cardio, you're burning the calories you just ate. If you can do your cardio after you train, that would be better than before. Your 10 minute warm-up is still ok to warm up with too.

the only thing I will say, is to go post a your training split on the weightraining board.

The dedication to diet and the discipline I see from the females on this board is second to none, but the training is still miles behind.

With the results myself and the other girls have seen here...how can you possibly say that. One way to train is NOT right for everyone. Have you looked at the stats around here? We all tweak our training to our bodies. What is good for a man is not always good for a woman.

Yup I am down 2 lbs. I have a great support group ;)

Calories 1205
Fat 33%
Carbs 13%
Protein 53%

I didn't eat enough today. I didn't go hungry but I got so caught up with work that I forgot to eat. I had a great work out but had to break up my cardio. The gym was so packed today all of the treadmills and ellipitcals were taken so I did the bike for 10 and the treadmill for 15 at HIIT.

She's now down 5lbs! Excellent progress so far. I'll take her BF measurements this evening and will post them up tomorrow.
