I've met lots of women from online. It was really good to horrible just like meeting people anywhere else.

I met my wife online....I personally got tired of meeting women in bars and clubs....even the gym was getting old....Meeting her online I got to know her personality as opposed to seeing her as an object of conquest. We talked on the phone a few times and then she came to meet me. She's my wife and my best friend so I guess it worked out for us...lol.

i finally met in person one of the girls i met online. i never got a pic from her . . . . big fukin mistake. She said she was atractive and had a nice bod. oh well, i got suckered. I didn't return to a chat room for almost four months after that . . . . anyways, thats just my luck.

The problem with online people is that most of them are flat out liers. Not just the body - everything. They lie about being outgoing, or ambitious, or athletic, or whatever. The shortcomings in looks are just another part of it. Every gay guy describes himself online as athletic and butch. Yeah, some of them are, but a lot of them aren't at all.

The best luck I've had is when you don't just meet up for sex, but you meet because you have a lot of other stuff in common. Then you see where it goes.

Of course, I ended up in a 5 month relationship with the first guy I ever met online for sex. Come to think of it, I dated the first guy I picked up in a bar too. Maybe there is a whole other set of issues here.....

LOL -- my girl and I met online. I had a personal up on Match.com and she replied to it... I'm moving in with her in May and marrying her next year.

So, yeah... I can say it worked out.

I didn't mention that I had about 100 bad meetings before this one... btw.
