Canada or bust!
If I thought I had a real shot at Triple V, I might just move my ass to Canada... two main things stopping me, first, you still have a husband, Triple V? That could be an issue! LOL Second, when I moved to Arizona from Chicago I got rid of damn near all my winter clothes, and my blood has thinned down too much... so a cold day to me is when it only gets up to 50 during the day.
Anyway, about this online dating... I sort of agree with what has been said, particularly bikinimom... what is a normal way to meet someone nowadays? in a bar? thats a joke, if you think about it... you are basing a potential relationship from a snap judgement in how sexy or nice you think someone looks. I personlly don't have contact with single women at work, so that way is out... plus there is the saying don't stick your spoon in the company pot, or something like that...
So I have met a few people online... plus I attended a wedding last spring, where one of the trainers I used to work with married a girl he met online... the best part is he is from Minnesota (and therefore a G** D***ed Vikings [aka Bi Queens] fan) and the girl's from a Chicago Polish family like mine... damn, laughed my ass off about that one! But anyway, I am dating a really nice lady I met through Yahoo personals, but I am still very wary of this method... especially these chat rooms and forums. While this one isnt too bad, something about the anonymity of a chat room draws out the real losers and psychos. Basically, alot of people hype themselves up much more than they really are, or worse yet, are almost totally dishonest. I have a few female friends who get fed up with 6' guys they meet online being 5'8"! LOL I mean how dumb can you be... you may be able to hide some things, but height isnt one of them Einstein!
My main advice is just be careful... don't get your expectations up too high... and no, you can't fall in love with someone online, no matter what you think. There are a lot of subtle traits in communicating in person that are missed on the internet, and plus there is still something about chemistry that is either there or it isnt.
I have just looked at the internet as a method to expand my contacts, but the actual relationship has to have more real time than online time in my opinion.
If you have read all of this, you deserve a cookie... please contact Triple V and wait 4-6 weeks for delivery... oh yeah, and send lots of cash! LOL
