I just got off the phone with him and he did the free virus scan. It showed 4 things, 2 worms and 2 other messages. I think they were what Phatchick posted. He could`nt "clean" them from the site because they were "already in use" or something.

Lol. I guess I've picked up a thing or two somewhere along the way. The real test will be to see if that last link's instructions really work. If they don't, I'll keep looking.

Good luck. By the time he gets to try it, you should have jnuts or Project or something with real know-how to help if it doesn't work. Hopefully it'll take it off his PC. Poor kid.

if it says already in use, hit control alt delete, and go to processes (assuming it is windows xp) and look down the list, and find the file that u are trying to delete, highlight it, and then hit "end process"

then try delting it

UPDATE... It`s removed! After he found it with the virus scan, he was able to go to each one (4 of them) and get rid of them following the instructions given. He told me this morning, that`s all I got out of him.

I think that every time you get a popup or spam email about porn, you should get $100 from the source of it. I think that would solve the problem pretty quickly. And if they didn't have the money to pay, then they'd be shot. Hey, it's an invasion of privacy, and could have other compensatory damages for emotional strife of an employer seeing something like it at work, or a husband's wife who finds out and divorces him.
And blocking these emails, popups never works, because even more of them are sent to you from different places afterwards.
