parents wont let me use prot powder...What's an alternative for post-workout protein?

hmm

I wannna beat your dads ass he reminds me of the guy off of american pie or some stupid redneck who would rather have you screwing your cousin than drinking orange juice

You guys know that you're replying to 16 year old female, right? Counseling any young woman to hide food is sick--girls have enough pressure on them about food and eating, and so to suggest this is irresponsible (think I'm kidding--take a look at the Pro-anorexia sites on the net.)

Gen--I'll repeat, the powder is convenient but it's not magic. You don't need to have a show-down with your parents over this. I'd pick your battles for a better thing to go to war over.

WHy don't you post on the Women's Board--I think you'll get better advice from us.

i guess i'll try to talk to them again....maybe they'll think twice. keiko, i'm really not about to be anorexic...although i don't think thats the point u were trying to make. mr x, thats a real good alternative....but i think it would be a lot easier to just get some powder and make a shake rather than making pb+j sandwiches and eggs and stuff. but thanx every1 for the help.
