I have had this same kind of pain...but mine just eventually went away. I had to drop the weight on my squat for a while, but it actually got better. I know what kind of pain you are experiencing and I know that you feel you can't do much at all.
Don't over work it, but doing a bit here and a bit there can really help out a lot.
