What AAp said is so true, the shoulder complex is a "finesse" set of muscle I feel ( lest traps)

the staple of shoulder for me is Smith Machin Miltary press to the front

you get under that thing and try to make 75 pounds feel like 150
 
I started using a complete range of motion and lightened up the weight on the Front Smith Press, and it made a huge diffrence. I mean from full extension at the top taking it down to chest level.
