Outer QUAD

First of all you shouldn't be squatting closer stance with toes forward more. That actually accentuates the tear drop.

I would recommend using a shoulder width or slightly wider stance and making sure you point your toes out a good degree like 30-40degrees, whatever feels comfortable.

You don't want your toes flared out so much it looks like you're doing a plie, but you want them angled out enough that you are activating your inner quad. I'm not talking about your tear drop, but your upper inner quad. This will add thickness to your leg.

I'd recommend doing sets 4-5 sets of 18 reps on the leg press as well. High reps in combo with medium to low squat reps will make your legs grow. You get the power development from the squats and the high rep/volume from the leg press. Do smooth reps with no pause at the top of the leg press. Do 4-5 sets of 18 with no more than 2 minutes rest between sets and your legs will be swollen. Obviously you will have to use less weight than typical sets of 8-12.

Imagine raw squatting 400+ for 5x5 and getting up to 4-5 sets of 750lbs on the leg press. Your legs will be swole.

Thanks for the feedback and reassurance guys. You know how this sport fucks up your perceptions - nothing ever looks right to yourself!

I'm adjusting my squat a bit. I already do the Low rep squat/high rep leg press as of now, but I will work on foot placement and see if I can get the feel in my upper and outer areas. Thanks again to all who posted.

I agree your quads look fine. Keep hitting squats with leg press and you will get the volume your looking for. Give it time, measure your quads and then re-measure in 6 months. You will be pleasantly surprised I bet.
