Some of my friends who have worked out all their life have decided that they have had enough. My one buddy who is 35 said his body couldn't take it any more. Me however, I plan on bodybuilding past 40.

What about all the other "older" bro's here at elite?

i plan on working out for as long as i can walk.

weight training and cardio is what keeps me outta the "big and tall" section of wal-mart. i am in my mid 40's.

I'll be 44 in a few days been training since I was a teen, I don't see any reason to stop!

I've been working out off and on (mostly off) since I was 18. Regularly working out for the last 2 years and seriously for the last year.
Just got to 31 last month, ain't slowing down, the changes strength/selfconfidence and visible progress will keep me going :D

Feel and look better at 39 than I did at 29. Age is no reason at all to stop. You have to adjust for slowdown in recovery time or joint problems, but stopping just doesn't seem right.

My event training partner is 30 and he is the only 30 year old that I know who can still go to a party and pick up an 18 year old girl. Amazes me.

I'm 34 next month. I'll keep at it as long as the old bod allows it. I can't imagine not going to the gym regularly.

I'm 43. I'm stronger and in better shape at 43 than I was at 23. I am stronger this year than I was at any time in my life... so improvements do not have to stop at 30 or 40.

I know guys who are 60 and 70 and have trained all their lives.

at 33 I'm stronger now then I was at 23. and I was strong as a horse at 23. I can get a better, more productive workout now in 1/2 the time then I could 15-20 years ago.
