I am sure that stuff has to taste like ass. Seriously. Maybe even ass after a good HIIT session.

Tell us how it is, I wanna know!

You have to give a review when they come in, S :qt:

I've been gluten free since the late 90s, and there are a few prepared foods that just don't cut it, pasta is definitely one of them (pizza is another). Going to an Italian restaurant is never going to happen to this girl again :worried:

What's GF pizza??

Oh, they're shirataki noodles. They aren't bad. They have kind of a seeweed fishy smell when you open the bag but it goes away after you rinse and boil them. The 0 cal ones are edible but the tofu shirataki noodles are better. I think they have like 20 cals per serving. You can get the plain shirataki noodles at any asian market. I've seen the tofu ones at Whole Foods and Wild Oats.

OMG I think I would die, you don't know how much I love my pasta. It makes me sad when I have to remove it from my diet at comp time, like now.

GF = abbreviation for Gluten Free.

I'm celiac. I have very unpleasant reactions to gluten. I can't just avoid wheat/rye/barley, I have to be REALLY careful and real labels.

I don't even lick envelopes.

Gluten free pizza tastes umm, something like the pizza BOX would, after it's been smeared with pizza sause and cheese

Breadstuffs are tough to make without gluten. They usually come out a LOT drier, and they don't have the springy-ness that regular baked goods do. What they use to condition the dough (which is usually made from potatoe or rice flour) is add natural gums (like arrowroot or certain seaweeds). Well, I have a problem with all of THAT stuff too. Nowhere as severe as gluten, but I can't eat GF baked goods frequently.

Naaa, I can't think that way. It's only food, honey :qt:

I was very, very angry for a really long time. It is what it is. I just get really frustrated with labeling laws in America and going out to eat is hard.

BTW, did you get the TempurPedic Bed???

I know :) You learn to adjust your taste buds and like different foods.

No not yet, but I will!

Totally worth the money, I wish I had gotten it back when I got my first bed (in this series LOL) that would have been 1998, I can't even begin to think of the pain I would have bypassed

Yeah I read it all one day now I check daily to keep up with it. His style of dieting etc really works for me. I am going to be putting a new split together based on his training style too.

have you checked out his website? He does competition training for $500 - for the whole 16 weeks. wow. that's uber cheap, IMO.

Yeah very well priced one of my friends was/is being trained by him the one that helped me with my last prep. He based most my training and stuff off Dave's diet and training methods so very familar with it.

Hungry Girl did an article on shirataki noodles! Like Jen, I can't find them around here. Make sure you rinse them well. Supposedly they taste like ass if you don't. :lmao:

So TSO, how were the noodles?

I've been getting brown rice noodles from Target, and they are really good. Brown rice is the only ingredient.

ok - I got the noodles in, pu them away, and then forgot about them. :nerd: So - I'm having them right now with my chicken and vegis.

They taste like....nothing. ;) this is a good thing - I added some soy sauce and am tricking myself into thinking I'm having soba noodles, or whatever they're called.

made from yam flour. no calories. 2 thumbs up.

Sweet that is what I as hoping if they don't ship to Canada I am going to

wow!
I'm gonna have to give these a try.
I haven't missed pasta at all but I do get bored eating the same stuff over and over so this could be a nice change of pace.
Thanks for sharing

Hey did these taste fishy at all? I got some from a low carb grocery store and they tasted fishy to me but not this exact brand want to check before I order some.
