Changed my workout to a 3 day old school one... and my butt has not hurt this much in awhile! Pain... I love it! Squats, leg presses, lunges, and calf raises. Finally, the numbers are going up, too! Question: what are some good back exercises for old school besides ... chin ups, seated rows with barbell, upright rows, lat pull downs, deads...

Well, old school refers to mostly non-isolation type movements as I understand it. That is, a leg extension is primarily quads. Just like a dumbell curl is biceps. Whereas lunges, deads, squats, clean and press use many muscles. At least that's my understanding...

Okay, bent-over barbell rows... standing, right, and can you give me tips on proper positioning/form?? You stand, legs shoulder width apart, head up, correct? And, is your upper body parallel with the floor? You pull the barbell back, squeezing the back ... okay, I get it.

that's a new one for me... gotta try it tomorrow...

I am one of those terrible people who don't like taking a day off from the gym ... so, a three day workout for me is a challenge... I have to do cardio/abs other days.:elephant:
