Just trying to see were I am at in my own training. I am 200# and do 100s for 8-10 solidly on my last set of military which I normally do first?

im 191 and i do 90's on the military....thats after front lateral db raises. i like to pre-exhaust my delts before doin military..:) i usually do 3 sets of 8-10 depending...

I'm 198 and last time did 4 sets behind the beck military press: 110, 90, 70, 50 and 4 sets of lateral raises after that

I weigh 180 at 16 years of age and at a disadvantagous height of 6'2". As for your question, on the standing military dumbell press I use the 75 pounders with perfect form and no leg assistance. I could probably do more seated, but the standing version is far more effective, as it uses the muscles in the abdomen and lower back as stabilizers. When done standing, the military press is very much a total-body movement... Especially when you start using the really heavy weights (i.e. anything more than 100 pounds), which usually causes your form to degenerate somewhat, meaning that you'll probably push with your legs for momentum (that would be considered as, I believe, a dumbell push-press)...

i've always had good shoulder strength...but after a rotator injury that took 7 months to heal...i am back up to my 140 pounders...i weight 225 lbs.:)

16 y/o and only training 3 months....
60's with good form, 12 reps, 3 sets.
i can use 70s but someone has to stand behind me to assist me, ehlp me with form, i feel it more effective that way.

Da big thinker,

Can you really do 140s? I mean that is alot for military. There are guys at my gym that weight more than 225 and they don't even use the 100lb ers for shoulder presses. Do you do that much off the juice too?

well before i use to do like 100s in db seated press for 12 reps and for military front press i would do 225 for 8 reps...but i was 400 pounds and now i stoped training and have to get back in the game.....now, like 70s db and like i would say 150 military press...

It's funny. In the gyms I've been in, I rarely see people with your stats lifting these weights. Yet, on the internet, everyone is a strongman competitor. LOL

I am 11 years old. I weigh 87 lbs. I use the 120 lb dumbells for shoulder presses. I have a 12 inch penis too!

Get real

curling,

140's my friend...i've always been strong w/ shoulders...i've only done 1 cycle of deca & winny;very mild.did it to get thru my knee pain and to keep my gains while dieting.(b4 the sauce,i'd do 120's for 6 clean reps;so i guess the sauce helped)

ps:i'd rather be deadlifting,i have nothing to prove bud...it's all good.if you don't beleive...i don't really give a rat's ass.peace...
