Feeling better today but not 100%. Feeling stronger though...

brian747478 was back in today and we did some overhead work. Had a pretty good one too.

brian 225 Viking Press (after many many other sets)

Strict OHP, 157 x 5

mid/close grip bench 225 x 20

brian, rest pause 3 board x 21 (after many other sets)

hang snatch, 2 3/8" bar, 82 pounds x 5
(you can see that I don't feel comfortable on my right knee just yet)

It is an event. My Viking Press normally feels much heavier than most though...so it is good to practice with.

brian and I were discussing how much size the Viking Press actually seemed to add to the delts. I really like it for all purposes.

you look solid B......... glad to see your knee/ham is getting better. your a beast with that 225 for 20..... you made it look easy. and your extremely explosive on your snatch. good work.

congrats guys, both of you looked really well. shane that was a hellova set especially if that was fter other sets. lookin good.
 
i had done 6 speed sets with 30 sec rest, then 175 and 200 for 3. then the 225 for 5, my shoulder didn't feel just great either.

speaking of which i just watched the video again and i think i noticed something..... from the angle, it looks as if your doing a bodybuilding ohp, in other words your elbows flare out to the side, on the viking press, you may want to try keep the tucked close like on the bench press...............just a suggestion
