• ¾ Cup Quaker Oats with handful frozen Raspberries & 1 tbsp Splenda
• 1 cup Egg Beater Omelet (mixed Garden Veggie & southwestern & diced some Broccoli & Cut Green Beans, with Sea Salt)
• Granny Smith Apple
 
Old Country Buffet this morning at 9:00

3 omlettes with ham, bacon, onions, mushrooms
A couple waffles
An obscene amount of milk
 
3:00pm
whey and ruby red during workout.

4:30pmish...before, during sprint workout
MASS Recovery (made by ABB) ... tastes like crap, but needed to pound down some goods.

Going to muster up some hunger soon hopefully and pig out on something.

slaughter, not to try to change anything around for you, just as a thought... I can't see you wanting to lose ANY blood from the cirulatory system during a workout, but when drinking whey during a workout blood will be sent to the gut to aid in digestion of the protein. I can see trying certain free form aminos in light carb drinks and water for a slight edge, but the protein isn't benefical IMO.

I hear ya. I don't believe in that "magic window" of opportunity that your muscles some how suck it up and grow immediatly... muscle glycogen restores over a period of time. I've never had a bad workout because of my "DWOS" (during workout shake).

I appreciate it though :)

It's just overal calories for the day for me, I never try to spike insulin either.
 
well, Im not speaking of the magic window. Its fact that blood is sent to the gut to aid in digestion. Blood is also crucial during workouts, that's all I'm saying, that you may be drawing blood away from where its needed during your workout. But to each their own, how is your injury?

Ok... yeah, I know bro, blood is needed for digestion.

Let me just say this... my "diet" is NEVER the same day to day... and had I not had what I had today... i would have passed out on the gym floor.

I appreciate your concern.

Injury is getting better... check my log for updates about that :)
