They don't; They are hypocrites, gay, and pedophiles. My best friend dated a woman that worked for the local dioceses and they all knew which priest was dating a parishioner as well as commenting on the hottest priest. Religion is inherently hypocritical like all large social institutions.

Alot of health care providers, especially state funded insurances, will cover voluntary abortions up to 20 weeks. Most clinics won't do them past 24. By this time its fully developed except for a few things.

And why should they be able to stop doing them at 24 weeks? According to some on this thread, if you accept federal dollars you shouldn't get to pick-and-choose what services you want to cover.

Why not mandate that every entity that accepts federal money be required to pay for and perform partial birth abortions?

Why on earth do they allow voluntary abortions past the 1st tri. That's just terrible. You have 2.5 months to make that decision. If not, then have the baby and put it up for adoption.

Why? If it's a legitimate decision for the mother during the first and second trimester, what magical transformation occurred during the third? Is that when god gives it a soul?

Don't get all Jesusy on me here. And shouldn't Chris be required to perform third trimester abortions if he wants to do business with the federal government at any level (I.e. practice at any hospital or office that accepts federal dollars of any sort)?

It has to do with fetal viability. after the 24th week the brain lujgs and heart has developed enough where if the mother was to give birth the fetus being born could survive on its own

the only way they would go any higher than 24 weeks is if it was a chance that the child would be born dead or would kill the mother. you can get 1 up to the end of the second trimester which is 24 weeks, voluntary. after that it will try to do what they can do to deliver the child and save it
