NYC Libs Approve 13 Story Mosque 500ft from Ground Zero [news item]

I have like 5 LCD's, 2 Xbox's, a couple comps, and a Japan-Finest Car...So by all standards set, Im pretty close to normal lol

Am I going to be the first to point out that this is 2 blocks away from the old WTC site in Manhattan? That's not some sacred memorial ground. I'd bet you can find several titty bars, porno shops, and hookers within 2 blocks as well. At least they are building something. In almost 9 yrs. Americans haven't built shit there.

I have to intervene and say I love you all very much....just had to put that out there. Carry on...

Traz, you're a good dude with a good heart. I too think it's wrong for people that do not subscribe to a particular religion to disrespect the faith of those that do believe. Conversely, I think it is equally wrong for "believers" to attempt to force their convictions on others.

That being said, it seems to me that you voice a lot of anti American sentiment. I'm fully aware that the U.S. has made many mistakes throughout our history. But, frankly I feel a little resentment when I hear a non-citizen speak negatively of my country.

This rant is not intended to be a personal attack on you and I certainly can't cast any stones when it comes to making potentially offensive comments.

I think we can all learn to be more considerate.

I have no negative sentiments conscerning the US bro....on the contrary, I have friends and relatives in the US. I just came back from Detroit over the weekend and I was down in Cali 2 weeks ago. I got nothing against anyone bro, I've never judged a "country" period. I may have something againt a country governing body, but I love Americans...they're cool as fuck and chill. I grew up with Americans all my life...had few "local" friends growing up in Lebanon.

So rest assured I hate no one nor do I have negative sentiments against anyone. I generally love everybody and respect everyone. That is the truth.
