as much as i cannot stand RIGHT WING muslims, it is the right wing christians who annoy the F out of me
atleast the muslims dont try to convert me every Fing day and convince me Jeebus died for my sins. also the right wing christians are freakin hypocrites.
they both turned their religions into some kooky thing and infused politics into it. its pathetic. real islam and christianity is peaceful and for equality, it is nothing like what they loud mouthed losers who get all the tv time make it out to be.
there are churches that teach good christianity and the real thing, but they dont get money cause they have no power.

Yes, Muslims never attempt to convert others, nor do some of them claim that the penalty for not converting is death. At least Christians dont get all pissy if you draw Jesus. Your religious prohpets have to be giant insecure pussies if they dont want anyone to draw a picture of them.

i have muslim friends because i work in the financial industry and them and jews make up the business in my area. 90% of them do not try to convert me and are moderates. there is one dude who tries to convert me and who got caught up in the bs (he was going through a bad time and i guess he fell for the scam hook, line and sinker), but he is a major outcast with other muslims in our group now and doesn't get invited out ever. in fact i asked at the last outing why he wasn't invited and was told "we dont want him to embarass us" so you are wrong on the first point.
your 2nd point is incorrect also, even the extremist muslims dont believe in that. only if you WERE a muslim and left the religion should you be hurt/killed/etc.. i guarantee you if you were to get caught in pakistan by a terrorist group and told them you were converting to islam they wouldn't cut you a break. the key here is being BORN a muslim and then converting, being a christian then converting does not buy you brownie points.
for reference i was a christian/catholic growing up, even went to church etc. but now christians absolutely despise me for being an atheist and I could not give a rats ass. i've been called devil worshipper etc. i think to them its way worse to be a christian then become an atheist then to be an atheist from birth. so both islam and christianity are very similar in that respect

You mean how the last conservative president had a female (and gasp, black) secretary of state? Or how he also nominated a female to the supreme court? Or how the last conservative presidential nominee had a female for a VP running mate (McCain/Palin)?
Isolated high level politicians aside, the rank and file American conservatives are nowhere near the extreme social values of typical fundamental isamists in the middle east. If youve noticed, in America no one is calling for women to be stoned for walking around unescorted by a male, or being jailed for showing their ankles. I cant even believe I have to make those examples bro, its plain to see. You are most uninformed if you believe that they are the same because conservatives make up squarely half our nation yet women have managed to continually gain rights and progress, and if our entire nation is identical to fundamental islam that simply wouldt be possible.
So your experience is drawn on your relationships with half a dozen friends? Ok.
we live in a progressive and secular nation. thats why the right wing muslims hate us. because we let women work, because we let women vote, because we allow women to not wear black from head to toe, because we have a wonderful thing called separation of church and state etc etc.

I have actually visited the middle east just like the other guy on here has, and isn't it ironic we both say the same thing yet the people who have never set foot in a muslim nation seem to know it all?
if what you are saying was true then it would be very easy to get out of a jam and just tell your kidnappers "dude I want to convert to islam, please let me go" they dont care. if you were born a christian you get no breaks. if you were born muslim, you better stay muslim. those are the facts, show me a legitimate link where it says otherwise and i will be the first one to admit i was wrong.
