So my question, is it ok for my to eat the normal chicken instead of the free range?? Will they both have the same nutritional values?? Am i doing any harm to myself by eating the non free range stuff??
It's a short term thing vs a long term thing. In the short term it means nothing. Protein values will not differ much if at all. If anything it's what the chickens ate that'll differ nutritional values wise.
Even free range can include drugs etc. Organic is where that differs.
I pay the extra $1 a pound for the organic absolutely and think it is very worth it
the taste is way better and it is going to be more nutritious.
it is what they are fed that makes it organic vs. not.. also how the chickens were treated and what kind of lives they lived. you want to eat chickens that were outside in the sun pecking and eating bugs? or you want ones stuck in cages being miserable and depressed?

Everybody will have a different opinion, but I'll say i eat regular chicken, eggs, sweet potatoes. Oats, veggies, egg whites, etc for half the cost of the fancy stuff...and I do pretty damn well
