NFL Season Opener: Raiders vs. Patriots!

The reason the Steelers D was ranked so high, was due to the ball control offense.
Ball control offense = running game. So blame it on the bus. Dont come in here and act like you know football, Bergerboy is no Peyton. Most of his games in regular season were under 200 yards. Lets look at a few scoring drives:

TD Deion Branch, 60 Yd pass from Tom Brady (Adam Vinatieri kick is good), 6:49. Drive: 1 play, 60 yards in 0:09.
Sure it was off a turnover, but the D gave it up like your mom on prom night

TD David Givens, 9 Yd pass from Tom Brady (Adam Vinatieri kick is good), 7:08. Drive: 5 plays, 70 yards in 2:52.
70 yard drive, nice D there Pittzberg

TD Rodney Harrison, 87 Yd interception return (Adam Vinatieri kick is good), 2:14.
you can blame bergerboy for that one, but the margin of victory was not 7 points

TD Corey Dillon, 25 Yd run (Adam Vinatieri kick is good), 7:27. Drive: 7 plays, 69 yards in 3:27.
69 yard 7:27 minute drive and a 25 yd td run? LOL, no comment needed.

TD Deion Branch, 23 Yd run (Adam Vinatieri kick is good), 2:23. Drive: 10 plays, 55 yards in 5:06.
wow, another big run for a td, damn that Bergerboy, he's soft on D

But dont fret assface, next year is another year, maybe pittzberg wont choke?

Whatever dude. There was no continuity in the game plan, you can't keep putting the defense on the field and expect them to stop the Pats every single time. Also, I never said Ben was Peyton. But if you watched Steeler football all year (which you clearly did not) you would know that the 200 yards Ben would get a game were 1st down conversions and TD's. He was efficient and his numbers weren't gaudy. But the yards he did put up were meaningful, ulike most of Mannings numbers. This game it did not happen.

If the Stillers get rid of Billy Cowshit they might have a chance, but as long as that chcikenshit is there, I see them choking every year.
