NFL Forecast

Philip Buchanon and Donte Stallworth were the 2 best athletes to come out the draft last year. Buchanon is a little thin and make take some to to learn how to handle the more physical recievers, but his speed and athleticism are quite similar to that of Deion when he came out of school. He's not quite as polished and not as physical as a Charles Woodson or Champ Bailey, but his athleticism is second to none for a corner entering the NFL. Although I'd like to see him with about 10 more Portis is another Cane who could make a splash. The guy has a similar running style to Fred Taylor, minus about 30 lbs of course...

The Bears have an awesome defense, somwehat similar to the Ravens of a couple years ago...dominant middle linebacker making plays behind two mammoth tackles. But the Bears don't have the pass rushing ends and the shutdown cornerbacks that the Ravens had. I also think they're offense overachieved last year, especially Jim Miller. I don't like him going against an awesome defense in the playoffs.

you think Jim Miller overacheived last year--your right.

He had no Marcus Robinson(ACL tear)

A Train was a rookie(not any more)

Dez White was non-existent for the most part(he has had an awesome pre season and will kick ass with Robinson breathing down his neck)

The Bears Offense will play well this year---and Jimmy Miller will blow last year's numbers away.

The Bears have a really tough schedule though.

and by the way--the saints will be better than you think.

Jay Fiedler is gonna have a breakout season this year. Assuming Ricky runs the ball for 1000+. You just wait and see mister!

Huntmaster,

Where you born and raised in Texas? Bears fan.... HA!.... what kinda Texan are you? :D

... BTW, I have an excuse for being a 49er fan..... I was born and raised in California..... but I got to Texas as soon as I could.

whoever said "mc nabb looked like crap in the preseason" needs to shut the fuck up... first off, unless you live in philly you only got to see 2 preseason games... hell, they only played 3 so far. he wont see any action tonight... the offense didnt score points, so what.. it didnt last year either. its preseason, the main thing the eagles preach is : NO INJURIES... and they were successful for the most part...

as for the rb's in philly... westbrook is gonna have a few sparks this year... some eye opening plays... the eagles throw far more than they run (at least the plays originally designed as a pass)... so of course don is the offense... but it will even out a bit this year.

its destiny....

superbowl is in SD.. i have friends in SD that want me to move there.. offer me free place to stay for vacations etc... the eagles are always the first thing i see when i wake up... eagle this eagle that... its destiny :)

Let's hum a few bars "It's the Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers, Houston Oilers Number ONE!!!!!!!!"

I do think Y.A. Tittle will have a breakout year, watch Norm Van Brocklin too..

Gin--I grew up a huge Bear fan in Texas Born and Raised

I grew up watching payton and the Defense of the 80's

was a big cowboy fan too--used to really like dannywhite--until they screwed Landrey the way they did.

you dont do that to the man who put America's Team on the map

the man that created the 4-3 defense and the shotgun offense

you dont do that and get away with it(in my book)
