Nelson, please advize on how to cram more food in?

The thing is I have a VERY fast metabolism and not much of an appetite. So do you have any tips on how to get more calories in during the day? I am already adding maltodextrin to my shakes etc.
 
Maltodextrin is just sugar that isn't very sweet.

Do this;

Buy a bag of nuts -- any kind you like. Munch them all day long.

Like olives? Eat them throughout the day.

Sip juice drinks throughout the day.

Mix MRP's with whole milk.

Take extra B12

Take 6 liver tablets 4X's a day.

If you aren't full -- EAT!

You may also want to check out BIG BLAST from www.proteinfactory.com It's the best mass building supplement on the market. But NOTHING will work unless you eat enough and train heavy. You must commit to that goal. Good luck.

Exercise.

If you want to get bigger, you have to increase calories and put on some fat. There is no other way. The key is to build as much muscle as possible. By doing so, you also burn fat. How much, is determined by genetics. Supps will help. And drugs will help even more. But it still comes down to the basics.
 
Nelson where can you buy liver tablets and what about the risk of them being contaminated (since the liver filters many toxins etc.)?
 
I think a lot of this is a good idea!! The liver is a little more questionable. Is it for digestive enzymes? If so, you can but some by themselves OTC, although not all of them make it far before being digested themselves. Nuts and olives are a good idea. And when trying to cram calories is a good time for the whole milk!

Personally, I think adding maltodextrin (or a similar CHO) to drinks is a good idea. Not far off from the juice recomended. Conversely, adding fat to drinks (whole milk or oils) is good. Or adding olive or canola oil to foods (maybe a little on a sandwich) can add cals.
 
when i was on a weight gaining spree i drank about 900 calories of just energy drinks(sugar mostly),took flax seed oil,ate lots of refined butter.i went from 127lbs to 180 lbs in about less than 6 months.sure i became a bit chunky but i never worried about it.when i decided to cut up i took the fat off in less than 2 months.most people are paranoid about gaining a bit of fat while bulking.nelson is right on the dot with what he said in this thread about gaining some fat along with muscle.
 
Sme mention even CLA among other oils ( flax etc ).
i got a grandmother's idea: FISH LIVER OIL ( cod/recently shark ).
If that doesn't skyrocket one's appetite, well...
Liver tablets were touted as the oltimers' secret to mass.
i don't use because of the aftertaste.
as well, eating more requires more digestive enzymes: a supplement which shouldn't lack.

People who are paranoid to gain fat have big difficulties to get rid of it afterwards. To those (myself included) it´s much smarter to keep gaining slowly, eating clean all the time and cutting quickly than to lose all the muscle trying to get rid of the flab.
