Need to murder the last few kilos

LastKg

New member
Help much needed.

I've got to lose at least 2Kg in 7 days. I have a decent 6 pack of abs so I am not sure if this is practical.

I know I can lose 2 more kilos and be at an excellent weight, but am just not sure if it is worth doing it for the start of the ABA boxing champs next Sunday or simply to go in the weight above.

Please give me some experienced insight, Do you think it is worth it? Can it be done without impacting my performance?

4Kgs I've lost over 20 or so days, rate of loss has slowed down, some fat remains on lower abs, combined with leg fat I'm sure there is 2 Kg to loose.

My only downfall over the past 20 days is that I have been getting up and going to sleep late, please tell me this is extremely bad and when I correct it this week it should quickly show drastic improvement and the 2Kgs will drop.

All tips, tricks, websites, forums, food nutrition info., personal experience, and what ever else will be welcomed. I am doing loads of research into nutrition and well everything I can find about this subject so please don't give info. that is widely known.

Thanks,
James

i wish it was like that for me, would take a huge amount of pressure off. fighting can start within hours of the weigh-ins.
i have done that myself 2hrs before a fight, the first day was fine but it started to get to me on the second day when i had to lose the exact same weight in the next stage of the competition, legs gave out in the 3rd round.

besides sauna or taking diuretics i really dont think it can be done that fast... especially if you have to maintain it for a few days...
if i were you, i would eat as much as possible and get good rest and try to come in as big as possible at the next weight class...
be confident in your skill and do your best...

Thanks Moya.

Will probably stick to your advice.

I wont get bigger though, I'll just do it naturally unless I am very close to 67Kg on the day of the weigh-in.

James

I will look into what carb cycling actually is in the future aswell, might be helpful, cheers.
