Need Help On Tournament prep?

Anyone got advice on a routine break up . So that I increase my endurance and still keep up the gains. I have to prep for a bare knuckle competion .My normal calastenics training is taking away from my strength gains. That extra power with the strength at my height and weight is helpful.( I understand those who say it is wrong to compete this way but I have bills to pay like all of us do and these competions help financialy.) I know I have to sacrafice size when training cardio with weight training , but has anyone found a medium that has worked for them? Peace Tinnman
 
Hey bro , thats awsome, I love nhb fighting, never done it myself, but I have competed in BJJ. The most important is your cardio, cus if you gas out, big muscles, strenght, technique ect dont mean shit. Go to www.intocombat.com mayby get some ideas, The one thing Im learning is to train like you fight. meaning running for ten miles isnt gonna help you when your throwing a fluury of punches and then go to the ground while struggly for position. You use up all your ATP and cant get it back fast enough and gas out. train in intervals for more realistc situations, I ussually train with weights and or bodyweight before doing cardio , because after I dont have anything left.
