Need desperate help with what meals to eat

Hi guys, I am new to this particular forum. Anyway, I am trying to loose some body fat, I am really starting to gain the lovehandles and titties. I just LOVE food.

I especially love ALL bad food, such as all pasta, dairy, and I have a sweet tooth.

I realize I have to start thinking of food for survival rather than a treat, but I just have no idea what the heck I can eat.

I mean everything out there has dairy or dough in it, with the exception of like chicken and tuna and other lean meats.

Does that mean all I should be eating is lean meat and vegetables???

Please give me some examples of good meals to make for myself each day, that DONT TAKE MUCH PREPARATION... I am a lousy cook.

Thank you much!:worried:

try some brown rice or pasta (you have got to get some carbs....unless you're on a keto. diet) non-flavored oatmeal (you can get some equal and some sugar free pancake syrup to make it taste better). You also could eat some fruit like apples, oranges, or peaches. Like you said.....chicken, beef, tuna, and eggs are all good protein sources. Make sure you get enough protein in your diet....I would say atleast 1g per pound of body weight....and depening on your weight and carb intake that number can increase.

thanks for the reply.

I sure could use some other examples of meals.

Comeon peoples, I know that some of you eat. LOL

As long as you can stand it, canned tuna is great, and very easy, but pretty soon you'll grow to hate the stuff. You can also buy chicken breasts that come pre-cooked--either fresh or frozen. All you have to do is heat them up, and they taste pretty good. Low fat or fat free cottage cheese isn't bad; eggwhites can be cooked in the microwave in a matter of minutes

Vegetables are easy--just buy bags of frozen ones and throw them in the microwave. I like to take a tsp of the minced garlic you get in a jar, and mix that in a bag of spinach, and heat it for 8 minutes or so. Also, you can try some soy sauce, vinegar, herbs, etc. to liven things up. A little bit of spaghetti sauce (make sure it doesn't have too much sugar) or some enchilada sauce also are good toppings.

Here's my day

Breakfast:
4 egg and ground beef or sausage or bacon omelet

Lunch:
Chicken Breast or fish, maybe tuna
Salad: Romaine Lettuce, Green Olives, Olive Oil

Dinner:
Steak or whatever FRESH meat i want
Salad
Fresh Broccoli or green beans

Before bed sometime: Atkins or Carb Solutions Protein Bar

If you like to snack, Jello, Pork Rinds, and Celery w/ cream cheese are good. Pork Rinds are better than any chip, PERIOD. They are carb free <sometimes a trace> and with only 5 grams of fat, they weigh in a LOT less than chips.

I also drink lots of water all day, everyday.

Hell, i don't even think about eating anymore. I ate at 7:00 tonight, and here it is 1:15 in the morning. I haven't thought about food until now :)

in your case, willpower will be your main battle-if you can give up the high GI foods, you'll be able to acheive good results. if not, noone can get you to do something that you yourself don't want to do just by advising you on what to eat

i get a huge bag of chicken breasts or chicken thighs and grill them up on my George Foreman grill. Or i go the store and buy those ready made briskets and put it in the oven for an hour. I also buy a couple dozen eggs every week that i use to scramble. I still have tuna sitting in my cabinet, i can't bring myself to eat that crap again. I think i burned myself out on tuna.

By the way i love your nickname, The Pikey. Snatch was one great movie.

I always look for the sale on 97% fat free lunch meats or the foster farms pre cooked chicken which is chopped up. Each package is in the neighborhood of 27 grams of protien and 250 calories.
Then I can eat the whole package by itself as one of, or part of one of my meals.

Eggs
cottage cheese (low Fat)
fresh nuts
nutrition bars
fresh fruits
fresh vegtables

They all travel easy and go down easier than tuna
:D

Wow guys thanks for all the suggestions, these were great ideas for me!!!

I'll let you all know wether my will power prevails.

Also

By the way i love your nickname, The Pikey. Snatch was one great movie.

Thanks for the compliment too. Brad Pitt is the man. He played a great part.:D

I'll give you a few of my favorites:

1. 1 can tuna, light mayo, relish, green onion.
Piece of string cheese.
Either toasted bread with the melted cheese, or cup of yogurt.

2. 8 scrambled eggs, 2 yolks. Piece of lowfat cheese scrambled with the eggs.
If staying low carb that will be it, if not they a packet or two of oatmeal. Sometimes the nonflavor oatmeal.

3. Off coarse you cant beat the convience of meal replacements and protein powders. I have a serving of N-Large 2 post workout for the carbs and protein. Before bed I have a low carb whey protein shake.

4. 1-2 chicken breasts with some type of veggie, my fav. is broccoli. Maybe some low GI carb like potatoes, rices, if not cutting
