hey there,
im starting my cutting phase without aas, and I was planning on a atkins low carb type of diet, but a few experienced lifters have helped me out with macros better suited for someone who lifts.
my stats
late 30's, 160 lbs, 5'7, bf 14%
bmr 1585 tdee 2249
my goals
to loose fat and preserve muscle, Im not concerned with gaining new muscle as once I lean out a bit I will be doing a lean gains cycle in the spring/summer
An experienced lifter told me to do this: 200 protein, 200 carbs, 65 fat grams
and when I ran my stats through IIFYM, the numbers closely match his numbers
will this work? thanks
