My left shoulder is developing more than my right. WTF?

If I stand in the mirror and look at myself, my left shoulder is bigger than my right one and I really don't know why. I train both of them exactly the same and most of the shrugs I do standing with a straight bar. I also do dumbell shrugs. I am careful to watch myself in the mirrors and make sure I'm doing everything evenly. I've even started doing shrugs just with my right shoulder but it seems like it just won't catch up to my left one. What can I do to even these out? Should I be rolling my shoulders when doing shrugs? I was told not to. Maybe this is why? What is the best shoulder routine to build the height of a shoulder? My dream would be to have shoulders like Brock Lesnar.

Are you right handed??
The reason I ask is I'm right handed and my right arm was 0.5" bigger than my left. Now the weird thing is I'm the same as you but worse my entire left upper body is more developed, left shoulder bigger, left pec bigger, left lat miles bigger.

I have near perfect form and like you watch myself in the mirror closely.

I do have two theorys for this and I'm putting them into practice and it seems to be working.

I realised as I'm right handed every time I was flexing a muscle and feeling it (as we all do) it was with my right hand and therefore it was my left muscle. Being a poncy cunt, I pretty much do this throughout the day. Therefore left muscles were pretty much getting extra workouts. I've managed to realise this and don't do it as much or split it between each sides if I do.

Also, this theory's slightly less comprehendable. As my right arm is bigger (and stronger), I presume my left muscle groups are getting a heavier workout as they need to compensate for the weaker left arm. The reason my right arms bigger?? coz I always flex that one, so now I mix them up and the left has caught up to a 0.25" difference.

Anyway if the either theory applies, try to adjust the flexing. Its working for me I think.

Like LS said, no one is symmetrical. However, are you sure its not a posture problem. You could have a slight sciatica causing a weight shift to the side.

Try jerking off left handed (put your shoulder into it!). After a while that should even things out.;)

everyone has uneven bodyparts, you'll be the only one that ever notices...I wouldnt sweat it bro

Thanks for all the replys everyone. Yes I am right handed and that too was a little theory of mine about my left side trying to compensate for my stronger right side and therefore bulking up faster. Another theory I have too is these days I'm trying harder than ever to have perfect form when working out my shoulders and I can just feel the left side burning more as if its working harder even though I'm doing the exact same weight and motions on both shoulders. Therefore lately, I'll do 3 reps with my right shoulder for every 1 rep I do with my left shoulder. So back to my other shoulder questions, what are the best routines I can be doing for adding mass and size to my shoulders? Also are those wrist hooks any good for doing shurgs as opposed to just holding the dumbells?

the width of my left shoulder is noticeably bigger than my right. It has always been like that so nothing more than genetics i think.

Another theory is that the muscles on your non preffered side are weaker than the ones on your right despite being the same size. To compensate for this the left grows more than the right so that they can both lift the same weight.

How long have you been training?
