My heart was broken today

Im so sorry S, I really understand your pain. My little girl is like a kid to me. He's moved on and is in a better place. I hope you can overcome this soon. My thoughts are with you.
 
Died ? Cheated on you ? Left for another country ? I'm guessing it's #1 so yeah it sucks :(
 
sorry bro :( I am sure he had a great life.

His best friend, his dog... If you check his gallery you can see the pics.

Such a hard thing to go thru, I know I would be in a total state of depression if my precious were to pass.

My dog is my son. I've totally humanized him. I'm so sorry Shadow, I'd be a mess.

Mine is too, she is spoiled rotten, follows me around everywhere, like i would have a tie on her. If i go in a room and close the door she will sit there until i exit. I love her to death... she is hella smart but very very zealous. LOL

I was out a week ago setting my garbage and such... and she was running around as normal... ( she is a neighborhood dog now.. LOL ) and a car came speeding thru and I was trying to get her to get out of the garbage that spilled and she took off and ran in front of the car. I nearly passed out, they didn't hit her.. but I don't know what I would have done if they had.

Its all my fault because Im so used to this small neighborhood with no traffic and her running around my property. My neighboors lover her and no one complains. But it really made me realize that i need to stop letting her roam free. (and yes she is fixed )

I really don't think so......everyone says that they wont get another - blah blah blah...Ive said that inthe past as well......this is different.

You will when you realize you can save another dog from death at the animal shelter.

Good point- I think that every time I look at my cat. By far the coolest little guy on the planet.


So sorry for your loss Shadow. Cats have a subtle way of being part of your life, but dogs are always just so damn glad to be there. I'm sure he will be missed dearly.
 
Sorry to hear it bro. I hope you feel better soon, I know it's tough losing those special little friends that become part of your family.
 
shadow, people who never lost a pet can't understand how upsetting it is- it really does feel like you've lost a close family member. I'm sorry. i'm around if you want to talk/vent.

Even worse...walk thru your local animal shelter and realize some of those animals are going to be euthanized at any moment.
 
I was crushed when my last cat died....I took all her food and toys over to the animal shelter to donate the stuff..

I ended up leaving with the two kittens in my gallery...

and then helped raise another $400,000 to build a new shelter on a 100 acre farm on the outskirts of town.

That last pic is amazing. Look at how proud that dog looks. Sorry about the loss too. Dogs are so devoted and innocent for the most part and their deaths can hit harder than people's in some cases.
 
So sorry to hear of your loss! I lost my girl almost 2 months ago and know the place you are at. Take your time to grieve. It will get better, I promise.

I hear you on there every dog is different. Different personality and how they act..... I treat mine like it was my own kid... not that I had experience having a kid but you know what i meant. ;)


Plus when you have them for a really long time you really get attached to them and is not really easy to let go...is like just losing a part of your family....

A lot of people say is just an animal you can just buy another one... that's not that easy... at all. Memories are hard to forget that's all i have to say about that...
