yeah it sounds good, hmm i could try this
Can't really knock anything until you tried it ... at least I try not to so I can share my personal experience, THEN express my opinion.

Good Luck :)

well i tell ya i lost 36 pounds in under 2 months, im 5'8 and i was 310 now im 274 so i think im doing good what do you think?

The other thing is weight loss really comes down to calories in/calories out. Yeah, there are odd exceptions for hormonal issues or endocrine imbalances, but for the most part if you can't lose weight it's because the numbers don't balance.

He needs to start logging his food, weighing/measuring things, and looking up calorie content and get a grip on that. We have major problems in this country with correct portion size.

That being said, I wish him all the best in what he's trying to do and am glad to see he's got you to help and support him, that matters and can make a real difference.

Alright he has been doing 2 miles a day on the treadmill at 10% incline but he has been stuck at a weight of 274 for 2 weeks now . The only thing is when he is walking he leans on the handrails could this have an effect on his weightloss?
Any updates??

well he started the hiit and it looks like he is back to losing weight he is now down to 270 but me on the other hand i have been stuck at 220 for a real long time now i recently started the hiit as well so well see what that does. Does it just take really long to lose weight once you get closer to your goal or am i doing something wrong here? my diet goes as follows:

10:30 am wake up: Hiit for 25-30 minutes
11:00 am protien shake right after that
11:45 am 1 chicken breast, 15 almonds
12:30 pm weight lift
2:00 pm protien shake and a bowl of oatmeal
5:00pm oatmeal and almonds or tuna fish in can
8:00pm chicken breast, soup, broccoli
11:00 pm lowfat cottage cheese.

I think my diet is pretty clean but i havent been able to beat 220 in a long time now but i did just change to the hiit so maybe i should give it more time. Any suggestions? Thanks.

He eats lean ground turkey and lowfat cottage cheese and drinks either water or orange juice. The problem is his workout has become to easy for him but he is to lazy to make it harder i try to tell em your body gets used to a workout and after a while you need to increase the intensity of it but he wont listen he thinks he can lose all his weight doing the same exercise the whole time. Plus he leans on the handrails of the treadmill isnt that a bad thing to do? Wouldnt he get more accomplished if he swayed his arms instead of holding and leaning on the rails?

In which case, get him to completely change what he is doing. Have him on a cross-country walker for a month, stepping machine a month, rowing machine. Variety is the spice of life!

ya he increased the intensity and he is losing once again its me we are focusing on now im the one thats having the trouble.
