Tough to say. If they've been trying to get him laid for a while unsuccessfully he probably has some deep rooted issues of some kind. This display of patronage might mess him up even more. Sex is just like anything else, it takes practice. You can watch videos and read books until the cows come home, but that doesn't teach you shit. I think lovers are moreso "born" rather than made. It depends on the personality type to begin with. There's nothing difficult about fucking if you can let go of any mental hangups.
