My 1-test Transdermal Mix....

What is ETOH? What else could be added that would be over kill. Sounds like isopropyl alcohol and IPM are the most important.

ETOH= Ethel Alcohol 95%,,,, (everclear),,, I supposed to work better that Iso Alcohol,, dont know why but will take the advise of folk who know much more than myself..... Yeah Ethenol and IPM seem to be the key factors..... The oleic acid is supposed to really give it a kick... Cannot use to much OA due to skin lesions from high concentrations more that 10 to 20%....

So not even Isopropyl alcohol is used, but rather:

70% Ethyl alcohol (Everclear)
20% Isopropyl Mystrate
10% Oleic acid

Could you substitute emu oil for oleic acid? That is supposed to be a good penetration enhancer, and it is a source of both lineolic and oleic acids.

Where can you find these ingredients? I mean everything other than the everclear. I'm trying to do my own trandermal too. Is there anywhere on the internet, or what store might I find these products?

HA! sciencealliance was the website. I was looking for it too as well right now. I had to restart my computer, you can find the IPM from both websites and the oleic acid from science alliance.

I wonder what Pardeus thinks of our transdermal mixes, he's remained kinda quiet. We suggested to him on another board we'd buy his transdermal mix if he was up to selling it and he said he was thinking about it. But if Par does sell hit mix, it would be the best IMO. and you can add what ever ingredient you wished to the mix.

Also, what are the differences between:

1. Ethyl Alcohol, Denatured, ACS

2. Ethyl Alcohol, Denatured, 95%

3. Ethyl Alcohol, Denatured, Anhydrous

I can't offer the reason b/c i forgot, but i know you're suppossed to use the 95% one and not the denatured, i think it has something to do w/ the effects on the skin where denatured may be kinda harsh on the skin.
