Morons at the gym (the official thread)...

OK last nite was one of my favorites - the three girls who train together. At least they go to the gym. But none of them know what they are doing, but they each follow the other around the gym - doign whatever apparently looks like its easy to do. This is the 2 fat girls & 1 skinny girl w/ amazingly rounded posture combo. They are at the cable tricep press down, but none of them will press it all the way to extension and let it fly back up on the negative. And this is w/ like 10 lb on the stack. And they just keep yakking away, and each does it just the same bad form way as the first girl did. And this is the fat girl who I'd seen w/ one of the trainers - so she must be the one w/ the "know -how".

Just to be an asshole, i happened to be finishing up my giant set of tri exercises so I did a couple side tri flexes in front of them just to show them where their tricep is located.

Trainers thoughts ...

"Why is that girl standing on the Flat Bench ( Bench Press ) doing stiff legged dead lifts, dropping below her toes..."

"OMG look at her now .. she is running on the Step Mill.. $50 bucks she bails..."

A fav of mine is doing cable pull-thrus -- like between your legs and then doing like a pelvic thrust -- same as the reverse hyper for your hams. Its not graceful but it works just fine. I get lots of stares on that one.....

I had a trainer come up to me and ask that I stop doing them (SLDL from the bench). Problem is they do not have a DL platform anymore - they got rid of it and replaced w/ a few more stairmasters I think - or maybe it was norditrac's - not sure - I just know I miss the DL platform -

If you ever bail on the Step Mill I will loose all faith in you Bunny - lol
 
I'm still the fat chick with the sissy weights & Jr doesn't hide the fact he's talking about me. He's even bold enough to point.

Being the wonderful person that I am I generally ignore him but I've been a little edgy lately sooooooooooo I bent over to adjust the tongue of my shoe and darn it if my limegreen dainties weren't showing, and it just so happens that my a$$ was pointed directly at him.


Take that visual home with ya there jr because my a$$ is what nightmares are made of you little pencild*ck! :finger:
 
Ok. Here is a new one from today. This lady drags her mat over and places it between the two squat racks to do her stretching. Now these racks have enough room between them to rack and unrack your weights and that is about it. Not that this would be acceptible under any circumstances but we have a large just for strecthing not to mention this gym huge anyway. However, she seems to not like using the stretch area for some strange reason. Me and the other guy just walked all over her mat and carried the weight over her head and she just did not get the picture.
