Military Press

i touch it to upper chest/collar bone

Mikeraz,

I actually use both in my shoulder workouts. Can never have too many pressing movements in your workout in my opinion.

When using free bar, i tend to want to arch my back a little more. When i use smith, i find i can pin my back to the bench more.

Free bar is better for mil presses.

agreed, I've managed to put a lot of width on my shoulders this past year using just free weight military press

I did military bar presses in february for liek 3 weeks all the way down to top of chest and i must say i def saw a diffrence but then i switched to just bringing the bar to my chin on advice of some guy and i really didnt see any change in body for 3 months im switchign back to down to chest
