I have no desire to compete but I'm starting to train as if I were. Seems easier that way.

A little mental? I prefer the term "socially challenged."

:D :silly: :spin: :D :silly: :spin: :D :silly: :spin: :D :silly: :spin:

I think my friends and family were really shocked and dissapointed...I really didn't care about placing at all i really just wanted to see if I could do it. If I could take the pressure, do the extreme dieting. There were moments tword the end when I wished it would just be over and I felt like shit and just wanted to die because of the lack of energy, but I kept telling myself to just push through it's almost over...it will be soooo worth it in the end. IT DEFINATELY WAS!

It's odd, but the harder my training got (I was yelled at alot to push harder at the end...ugh!!!), the more tired and the less energy I had only made me want to push harder to make it...I think you have to be a little mental to do this shit...LOL!

That is the perfect mindset to go into your first show with. Sure everyone you now there is going to be disappointed as they will all say "but you worked so hard etc" -- but the judges absolutely do not give a shit where you came from to get to the stage - its just how you look that day at the time. But your mindset is nothing but absolutely positive - as I said - I thought you presented very well and that is a big battle even for the people who may have locked down the training & diet part. And I swear ANYONE who has done at least one show will tell you they needed another 3-4 weeks of dieting to get down to a leaner point - so I wouldn't even sweat that. That's what "2nd shows" are for and improved conditioning and scheduling for the next go-around.

Very happy for you all around!
